Abstract: Abstract: During the rainy season, flooding can cause water to get into the fuel systems of motorcycles, causing engine failure, starting problems, and damage to the carburetor. As a solution to this problem, this project proposes to design a smart fuel water separator and detection system for carburated motorcycles. The system consists of a fuel filter chamber, a water separation device, a water level detection device, a drainage system and a warning sign. But what really happens is that water level detection device a drainage system and a warning sign. But what really happens is that water is heavier than gasoline and it settles down to the bottom of the separator chamber. A sensor constantly monitors for water and triggers an LED light or buzzer to alert the rider before contaminated fuel reaches the carburetor. The separated water can then be drained off via a drain valve, so that only clean fuel is supplied to the engine. The proposed system is compact, low cost, easy to install and suitable for retrofitting in existing motorcycles. The device prevents fuel contamination caused by water improving engine reliability, increasing fuel efficiency, reducing maintenance costs and extending the overall life of the motorcycle fuel system.
