The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The Smart FPV Racing Drone is an advanced high-speed quadcopter engineered to showcase the integration of embedded systems, wireless communication, and real- time control technologies within a compact aerial platform. This project focuses on developing a lightweight yet powerful drone capable of delivering exceptional agility, acceleration, and stability required for FPV (First- Person View) racing. The drone incorporates a carbon-fiber frame, high-torque brushless motors, an electronic speed control system, and an IMU-based flight controller to achieve precise maneuverability under dynamic conditions.A low-latency FPV transmission module enables the pilot to experience real-time video feedback, creating an immersive racing experience while ensuring accurate navigation at high speeds. Compared to commercially available racing drones, this design aims to provide an affordable, customizable, and educational alternative suitable for students and hobbyists who wish to understand drone mechanics, stabilization algorithms, and communication systems. The project addresses existing market limitations where professional drones are often costly, and beginner-level models lack performance and modularity. By enabling modular component selection, easy maintenance, and upgrade flexibility, the Smart FPV Racing Drone bridges this gap effectively. Furthermore, the system demonstrates practical implementation of concepts such as PD-based flight stabilization, sensor fusion using IMUs, power distribution management, and aerodynamic optimization.
