Abstract: ABSTRACT: Smart Footwear System for Autonomous Emergency Detection and Real-Time Alert Transmission This invention describes an autonomous smart footwear system configured to detect and respond to emergency or panic scenarios without reliance on external mobile devices. The system integrates pressure sensors, motion sensors, and optionally biometric sensors within the sole and heel structure of conventional footwear. A microcontroller unit processes sensor data using multi- sensor fusion algorithms to identify distress conditions triggered either manually through predefined heel-press patterns or autonomously via motion and pressure anomalies. Upon validation of an emergency event, the system activates a GSM and/or IoT-based wireless communication module to transmit real-time geo-location alerts to pre-registered contacts. The apparatus operates in a low-power state and features an embedded power management system for prolonged usage. Concealed within the footwear and visually indistinguishable from standard shoes, the system offers discreet, always-on personal safety, particularly suited for working women, students, and vulnerable individuals exposed to high-risk environments.
