Abstract: The present invention discloses an integrated smart food packaging system designed on behavioral-science principles including the Theory of Planned Behavior and Perceived Value Theory. The system comprises a three-layer interactive label architecture incorporating a colorimetric freshness indicator, NFC/RFID communication module, and dynamic QR code panel coupled to a cloud server hosting product and consumer profile databases with a health score computation engine. Scanning triggers a nutrition-triggered QR workflow generating a personalized composite health-freshness score on a 1 to 100 scale combining freshness, nutritional alignment, and sustainability sub-scores, along with dietary recommendations, portion suggestions, and allergen alerts. A retail analytics dashboard aggregates anonymized interaction data. An adaptive mobile interface prioritizes trust-building for new users and self-efficacy tools for returning users. The architecture deliberately addresses perceived trust as the strongest driver of healthy eating and individual needs as the strongest driver of perceived value, validated through structural equation modeling with 566 respondents.
