Abstract: The present invention relates to smart fire risk prediction system 100 for underground coal mines. The system 100 comprises at least one sensor module 102 configured to continuously monitor environmental parameters in an underground coal mine, a processing unit 103 configured to receive sensor data and compute fire risk indicators based on gas concentrations, oxygen deficiency, and temporal variation of the monitored parameters, a wireless communication module 104 configured to transmit monitored data and processed fire risk information from underground locations to a surface base station, a cloud server unit 109 configured to store real-time and historical environmental data and fire risk information, and a user interface module configured to display monitored parameters and generate alerts corresponding to classified fire risk levels for authorized users, the system 100 continuously predicts real-time fire risk indicators in underground coal mine and automatically communicates alert signals when predefined risk thresholds are exceeded.
