Abstract: The present invention discloses an intelligent fetal and maternal health monitoring system capable of performing continuous and non-invasive physiological monitoring during pregnancy. The proposed system combines biomedical sensors, signal conditioning circuits, embedded controllers, and LabVIEW-based virtual instrumentation technology for accurate acquisition, processing, visualization, and storage of maternal and fetal ECG signals. ECG electrodes and AD8232 sensor modules are used to collect maternal and abdominal ECG signals, while an AD620 instrumentation amplifier improves weak fetal ECG signal strength. For improved signal clarity, high- pass and low-pass filtering stages remove electrical interference, baseline drift, and motion distortions. For real-time waveform visualization, heart rate monitoring, and anomaly detection, an Arduino Uno microcontroller transforms analog signals into digital form and sends the data to a LabVIEW graphical user interface. Through ESP8266 and cloud platforms like ThingSpeak, the solution additionally facilitates IoT-based remote healthcare monitoring. Hospitals, clinics, rural healthcare facilities, and home monitoring applications can all benefit from the invention's affordable, portable, and easy-to-use healthcare solution. By facilitating the early detection of fetal and maternal anomalies and facilitating digital data storage and telemedicine integration, the suggested system enhances the quality of prenatal healthcare.
