Abstract: The present invention discloses a smart embedded sensor-integrated Internet of Things (IoT) system and methods for predictive healthcare cost control, insurance analytics, and health savings optimization. The system comprises wearable and non-wearable biosensors, an embedded processing unit, wireless communication modules, an edge computing layer, a cloud analytics platform, an artificial intelligence/machine learning engine, an insurance analysis module, and a decision-support system. The biosensors continuously acquire physiological and healthcare-related parameters including heart rate, blood pressure, glucose level, activity, temperature, oxygen saturation, and other relevant parameters. The embedded processing unit performs data acquisition, signal conversion, filtering, feature extraction, anomaly detection, local storage, communication control, and power management. Processed data is transmitted through wireless communication technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, LTE/5G, or other suitable networks. An edge computing layer performs real-time filtering, preprocessing, anomaly detection, event detection, and preliminary analytics. Selected data is transmitted to cloud infrastructure for storage and advanced predictive analytics. AI/ML models process current and historical information to predict health risks and healthcare costs. Insurance-related information is subsequently analysed with predicted health risks to provide policy matching, coverage analysis, cost estimation, and personalized recommendations. The system provides actionable insights, alerts, healthcare recommendations, insurance recommendations, and health-savings information through user and stakeholder interfaces. The invention thereby integrates health monitoring, predictive analytics, healthcare cost estimation, insurance analysis, and financial decision support within a unified IoT-enabled architecture.
