The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT This invention describes an intelligent restroom odor monitoring and automated cleaning alert system designed to maintain hygiene standards in public and private sanitary environments. The system integrates gas sensors (NH,, H2S, methane), odor-level processing algorithms, a microcontroller (ESP32/ Arduino ), wireless communication modules, and an alert interface to detect unhealthy odor conditions inside restrooms. Upon detecting odor levels beyond a pre-defined threshold, the system automatically sends alerts to cleaning staff through mobile notifications, displays, alarms, or loT dashboards. The invention provides real-time monitoring of restroom conditions, historical trend analysis, automated cleanliness alerts, and optional integration with cleaning robots or exhaust fans. Additional features include temperature/humidity sensing, occupancy detection, automated scheduling, cloud data storage, and predictive maintenance using AI. The system eliminates the need for manual inspection, reduces odor complaints, improves user experience, and enhances overall sanitation efficiency. This invention presents a robust, scalable, and loT-driven sanitation monitoring solution for smart cities, commercial buildings, educational institutions, and public infrastructure.
