Abstract: The SmartDoor Energy Bell IS an energy-efficient smart doorbell system designed to provide reliable visitor alert functionality while minimizing power consumption through intelligent activation and hybrid power sourcing. Traditional doorbells operate continuously on mains electricity or batteries, often resulting in unnecessary energy use, frequent battery replacement, and limited sustainability. Additionally, many systems lack automatic power management and remain active even when no visitors are present. The SmartDoor Energy Bell overcomes these limitations by integrating motion detection technology with a low-power control system that activates the bell only when movement is detected near the entrance area. The system remains in ultra-low-power standby mode during idle periods, significantly reducing energy usage. A hybrid power configuration combining a small solar panel and rechargeable battery ensures uninterrupted operation even during power outages or low sunlight conditions. When a visitor approaches, the motion sensor triggers the system to wake instantly, enabling the bell function and alert sound generation. Visual indicators provide system status and power level information. The compact design allows easy installation at residential doors, gates, and apartment entrances.
