Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for the development of the smart digital twin-based mechanical asset management system uses the most recent technological development called a digital twin together with an instant mathematical decision engine that allows for optimized management of assets and maintenance. It allows one to make the dynamic virtual copies of mechanical assets and monitor their performance based on the real-time data in order to determine the actual conditions and carry out preventive maintenance. Thanks to the integrated decision engine that uses mathematical models, real-time data is processed and provides information that helps make decisions quickly and efficiently. As a result, the system helps decrease downtimes and increase the lifespan of assets and saves money by performing proactive maintenance. FIG.1
