Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a smart crop advisory and precision irrigation system (100) for automated irrigation management in agricultural fields. The system comprises a soil moisture sensor (101), a temperature sensor (102), a humidity sensor (103), an edge controller (104), an irrigation control module (105), a relay switching unit (106), a water pump (107), and a water delivery network (108). The sensors continuously monitor soil and environmental conditions and transmit data to the edge controller (104), which processes the information locally without requiring internet connectivity or cloud-based computing infrastructure. Based on predefined irrigation thresholds, the controller automatically activates or deactivates the water pump (107) through the relay switching unit (106). The invention enables real-time autonomous irrigation control, reduces water wastage, minimizes manual intervention, lowers operational costs, and provides a reliable irrigation solution particularly suitable for small and marginal farmers operating in low-connectivity rural environments.
