Inventors include Prof. Dr. Sandeep Gupta; Shazia Anjum; Sangeetha S; Megha D; Srikanth H V; Dr. Balaji S; J S Sharanyanivasini; and Ms. Mary Joseph.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a sophisticated concrete mixer system equipped with sensor-based consistency detection and automatic closed-loop vibration regulation system. The system consists of a rotating cylinder, sensory unit, which is made up of torque, moisture and ultrasonic sensors, on-board electronic computer, and variable frequency vibrators installed on the rotating cylinder. While working, the sensors monitor constantly the mechanical resistance, slump shape, and moisture content of the mixed concrete. The on-board electronic computer processes the data obtained from the sensors to measure rheological properties on-line. Once unevenness, presence of voids, and deviation from required viscosity are detected, the electronic computer adjusts the vibration frequency and intensity of the vibrators. FIG.1
