Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a smart bottle configured for real-time water-quality identification, sediment filtration, and ultraviolet disinfection. The bottle comprises a reusable container body having a substantially conventional internal water-storage space without separate detection or purification chambers. One or more water-quality sensors are embedded in or near the bottom portion of the bottle and remain exposed to the stored water. The sensors measure parameters including pH, turbidity, temperature, electrical conductivity, and total dissolved solids. An electronic controller processes the measured values and determines the condition of the water. The bottle employs only two purification methods. A normal sediment filter removes suspended particles, sand, dust, rust, and visible impurities. An ultraviolet disinfection unit exposes the stored water to ultraviolet radiation for reducing harmful microorganisms. The ultraviolet unit may be activated automatically according to sensor measurements or manually by the user. Safety mechanisms prevent ultraviolet operation when the bottle is open, empty, insufficiently filled, or improperly assembled. Visual, audible, or vibration-based indicators communicate water quality, treatment progress, treatment completion, battery condition, and maintenance requirements. A rechargeable power source operates the sensors, controller, indicators, and ultraviolet source. The invention provides a simple, compact, reusable bottle that retains the appearance and convenience of an ordinary drinking bottle.
