The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a smart biometric electronic voting system designed to provide secure, reliable, and efficient voting through the integration of dual authentication and intelligent monitoring mechanisms. The system .utilizes face recognition and fingerprint authentication as two independent biometric verification layers to accurately identify voters and prevent unauthorized access. A microcontroller-based control unit performs multi-stage authentication by correlating biometric inputs to generate a unified voter identity, thereby ensuring high accuracy and minimizing false acceptance or rejection. The invention incorporates a secure voting interface that is enabled only upon successful authentication, and a biometric locking mechanism that prevents duplicate voting by restricting repeated access from the same voter. The system further includes an artificial intelligence-based authentication engine that enhances recognition accuracy, detects spoofing attempts, and dynamically adjusts authentication thresholds based on environmental conditions and historical data patterns.
