The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a Smart Baby Cry Analysis System for real-time monitoring and classification of infant cries. The system comprises a USB microphone for capturing infant cry audio, an audio preprocessing module, a Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) feature extraction module, and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for classifying the captured cries-into-predefined categories-including-hungr3ybelly painTdiscomfort, tiredness, lonely, burping, scared and temperature-related distress. A Raspberry Pi executes the trained CNN model and interfaces with a DHT11/DHT12 sensor to monitor ambient temperature and humidity. The classified cry category together with the environmental sensor readings is displayed on an LCD module to assist caregivers in understanding the infant's condition. The proposed system provides continuous, portable, and cost-effective infant monitoring, enabling timely caregiver intervention and improving the quality of infant care through accurate real-time cry analysis.
