Abstract: ABSTRACT Smart Autonomous Warehouse Robot with AI-Based Inventory Optimization The present invention relates to a smart autonomous warehouse robot integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for real-time inventory optimization, material handling, and warehouse automation. The proposed system is designed to improve warehouse efficiency by autonomously navigating storage facilities, identifying inventory items, transporting goods, and continuously optimizing stock management with minimal human intervention. The robot employs advanced sensors such as LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, RGB-depth cameras, RFID readers, barcode scanners, and inertial measurement units for precise localization, obstacle avoidance, and accurate product identification. AI-powered algorithms analyze inventory movement, demand patterns, storage utilization, and replenishment schedules to determine optimal stock placement, reduce travel distance, and minimize idle time. A simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) module enables the robot to generate and update warehouse maps dynamically while safely navigating changing environments. The system communicates with a centralized Warehouse Management System (WMS) through wireless networks to synchronize inventory records, receive task assignments, and provide real-time operational updates. Machine learning models continuously learn from historical warehouse data to predict stock shortages, identify slow-moving products, recommend replenishment priorities, and optimize picking sequences. The invention also incorporates predictive maintenance algorithms to monitor robot health, detect component degradation, and schedule maintenance before failures occur, thereby reducing downtime. Multi- robot coordination algorithms enable efficient task allocation and collision-free operation in large-scale warehouses. The proposed autonomous warehouse solution significantly enhances inventory accuracy, operational productivity, order fulfillment speed, warehouse safety, and resource utilization while reducing labor costs and human errors. The invention is applicable to e-commerce fulfillment centers, manufacturing industries, pharmaceutical warehouses, retail distribution centers, cold storage facilities, and logistics hubs, providing a scalable, intelligent, and cost-effective approach to next-generation warehouse automation.
