Abstract: Abstract The Arduino-Controlled Autonomous Firefighting and Detection Robotic System is designed to detect and extinguish fire automatically with minimal human intervention. The system uses an Arduino microcontroller as the main control unit, interfaced with flame and temperature sensors for fire detection and ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance. When a fire is detected, the robot identifies the direction of the flame and moves autonomously toward the fire while avoiding obstacles. Once it reaches an appropriate distance, a water pump is activated to spray water through a nozzle directed toward the fire using a servo motor. The system continuously monitors the fire condition and automatically stops the pump after the flame is extinguished. This project provides a cost-effective and efficient approach to early fire detection and firefighting, particularly in areas where direct human intervention may be dangerous. The proposed system demonstrates the practical application of embedded systems, robotics, sensors, and autonomous control for improving fire safety.
