Abstract: Smart AI-Driven Buoy for Real-Time Adaptive Larvicide Monitoring and Dispensation This invention describes a smart larvicide monitoring buoy designed to optimize mosquito control in aquatic environments. The system integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and real-time imaging for precise detection and quantification of mosquito larvae using high-resolution cameras and motion sensors. An adaptive nano larvicide release mechanism dynamically adjusts larvicide dosage based on larval density and environmental data, minimizing overuse and environmental impact. The buoy features an environmental monitoring subsystem, including sensors for water temperature, pH, and weather conditions, enabling real-time adjustments for varying ecological factors. IoT-enabled connectivity allows remote data transmission and operational control, while a self-cleaning mechanism ensures consistent sensor performance. Powered by solar panels and kinetic energy harvesters, the system achieves sustainable and autonomous operation. This invention offers an efficient, eco-friendly, and scalable solution for reducing mosquito populations, particularly in areas prone to vector-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue, and Zika.
