The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT “SLIPPERY RUBBER FORMULATION “ The present invention relates to a slippery rubber formulation specifically for dust covers, aimed at minimizing surface friction between moving components in automotive applications. The formulation primarily comprises of natural rubber (NR) combined with a 5 slippery compound, including wax. The present invention also discloses a method for the synthesis of slippery rubber formulation wherein the steps comprise loading the raw polymer into specialized mixing equipment at controlled temperatures for polymer mastication, followed by the addition of master chemicals and fillers. Subsequent steps include mechanical processes to ensure even distribution 10 and the introduction of final additives . The slippery rubber formulation enhances the performance and longevity of vehicle strut assemblies by mitigating the noise generation, providing a robust solution for protecting sensitive components from dirt.
