The sleeve acts as_ a shock-absorbing interface that minimizes comer impact stress, thereby reducing slide breakage during laboratory handling. The device is compatible with routine cytology and histopathology workflows and does not interfere with staining, microscopic examination, or slide storage systems. The invention improves laboratory safety, reduces specimen loss, and enhances cost-efficiency.
