MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541028410 A) filed by Raj Kumar Kurra on April 26, 2025, for Slanting Mixer Assembly Operating From The Surface Of Waterbody For Wastewater Treatment System.

Inventor includes Raj Kumar Kurra.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed toward a slanting mixer assembly operating from the surface of a waterbody for a wastewater treatment system. The slanting mixer assembly includes a geared motor, a drive unit, a shaft, a propeller, a bridge mount structure, and a vortex shield. The assembly is configured to be mounted on a bridge structure, providing accessibility for maintenance and operational adjustments. The shaft extends at an inclined angle into the waterbody, facilitating efficient fluid mixing across varying depths. A water-lubricated bearing supports the shaft, reducing friction and eliminating the need for conventional lubrication. The vortex shield is positioned near submerged section of the mixer assembly to minimize interference from debris and external disturbances. The surface-mounted configuration keeps critical components above the water level, reducing the risk of submersion-related failures. The system is suitable for anaerobic mixing, anoxic mixing, and sludge processing in wastewater treatment applications. FIG.4
