Abstract: The present invention relates to a Skin Lesion Classification and Recommendation System (SLCRS) that employs artificial intelligence for automated detection, classification, clinical prioritization, and personalized treatment recommendation of skin lesions. The system comprises acquiring skin lesion images through mobile or web interfaces, evaluating image quality, performs standardized preprocessing, and analyzing the images using deep learning-based lesion classification models. The system further incorporates Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques to generate visual explanations of the diagnostic results and classifies lesions into predefined triage categories based on severity. A dermatologist validation module enables periodic expert review and continuous model improvement through feedback- based retraining. The system additionally provides personalized evidence-based modern dermatological therapies together with scientifically curated Ayurvedic recommendations by considering lesion type, user profile, environmental conditions, and climatic factors. A comprehensive diagnostic report including lesion classification, confidence score, visual explanation, environmental risk factors, severity assessment, and treatment recommendations is generated while ensuring secure handling of patient data. The invention provides an accurate, explainable, affordable, and scalable AI-assisted dermatological decision support system suitable for teledermatology and primary healthcare applications, particularly for diverse skin types and climatic conditions.
