Abstract: Single-Formulation Self-Emulsifying Jute Batching Composition and Process for Preparation Thereof [0076] The present invention relates to a single-formulation self- emulsifying jute batching composition comprising rice bran oil 78 wt.% to 80 wt.%, a silicone component 5 wt.% to 6 wt.%, stearic acid and its derivatives 3 wt.% to 4 wt.%, lauric acid and its derivatives 3 wt.% to 5 wt.%, and wax 2 wt.% to 5 wt.%. The invention further relates to a process comprising heating the rice bran oil, incorporating the fatty acids, introducing the silicone component, mechanically agitating, incorporating the wax, and cooling to obtain the composition. The composition is readily dilutable with water to form a stable oil-in-water dispersion suitable for lubrication and conditioning of jute fibres during batching, carding, drawing, spinning, and yarn formation. The composition reduces chemical consumption and batching costs by approximately 20% to 40% compared to conventional emulsified batching systems. (Figure 1)
