Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide a mechanical fastener for multiple plates attachment placed laterally using a single groove. The mechanical fastener comprising a fastener head, a fastener groove, and a bottom pivot. The fastener head comprises a flat head structure with a surface flush for mating with a plate surface. The fastener groove is counter sunk groove structure below the fastener head. The bottom pivot is multifaceted bottom tip of the mechanical fastener for creating a stable mating support to lower surface of the mating plates. A counter groove is provided on a corner surface of a plate. The angle of the counter groove from a common centre is chosen on the basis of no. of mating plates to the mechanical fastener.
