The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method for simultaneous estimation of Paracetamol and Nefopam Hydrochloride in bulk and tablet dosage forms. Chromatographic separation was achieved using a Wakosil 5 C-18 column with an isocratic mobile phase consisting of Acetonitrile: Methanol: HPLC Water in the ratio of 50:20:30 v/v/v. The mobile phase was delivered at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and detection was carried out at 232 nm using a UV detector. The retention time of Paracetamol and Nefopam Hydrochloride was found to be 3.05 minutes and 5.60 minutes respectively. The developed method showed good linearity, precision, accuracy and robustness as per ICH guidelines. The method was found suitable for routine quality control analysis of Paracetamol and Nefopam Hydrochloride in pharmaceutical dosage forms.
