Abstract: The Invention is a streamlined rapier driving system that does away with complicated gears in order to transform power looms into rapier looms. This design guarantees a small size that doesn't interfere with the current workspace, easy installation, and minimal maintenance. The user-friendly, noiseless design lowers manufacturing costs as well. A rack and pinion system supported by linear bearings, a flexible rapier tape, and a rapier gearbox with a plastic gear wheel are all included in the machine. The rack is actuated by a cam follower that drives the pinion, which in turn rotates the plastic gear wheel when the crankshaft reciprocates. This successfully inserts the weft yarn by driving the flexible rapier tape.
