Abstract: Simple Mattress -Bedpan Apparatus Assuring Patient's Comfort Abstract The present invention relates to a modified mattress which can be laid on hospital bed or similar bed at home for patients who have health restrictions to go to washroom or who have inability to go to washroom such as bedridden patients, wherein such modified mattress comprises a pit that can hold a bed pan for ease of defecation of such patients. The present invention further relates to a process for the preparation of modified mattress. The present invention can be used to ease method of defecation without causing discomfort and injuries caused by conventional use of bed pan in bedridden patients or in patients having health restriction to visit wash rooms.
