The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a preformed temporary dental crown, herein referred to as SILI-TEMPTm, comprising an outer structural silicone layer, an inner adaptive silicone layer, a reinforcement layer, and a drug-eluting reservoir layer. '[he outer silicone layer provides structural integrity and occlusal stability, while the inner silicone layer adapts to prepared tooth surfaces to improve retention and marginal adaptation. A reinforcing mesh positioned between the silicone layers enhances mechanical strength and resistance to deformation. The drug-eluting reservoir layer enables controlled release of therapeutic agents including antimicrobial, anti- inflammatory, remineralizing, or regenerative compounds. The invention provides improved comfort, adaptability, durability, and biological functionality compared with conventional temporary crowns. The system may be manufactured in multiple sizes and supplied in sterile preformed kits for immediate clinical use.
