Abstract: ABSTRACT SIGNALING FOR CONDITIONAL SIMULTANEOUS RECEPTION AND TRANSMISSION IN CARRIER AGGREGATION Example embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to conditional simultaneous reception and transmission in carrier aggregation (CA), comprising generating a plurality of bitmaps indicating capabilities for a CA associated with a plurality of bands, comprising at least two of the following: whether a simultaneous transmission and reception on a band in the plurality of bands is supported with respect to at least one other band in the plurality of bands; whether a transmission on a first set of bands in the plurality of bands and a reception on a second set of bands in the plurality of bands are supported simultaneously; whether a reception on a first set of bands in the plurality of bands and a transmission on a second set of bands in the plurality of bands are supported simultaneously; and transmitting, to a second apparatus, the plurality of bitmaps.
