Abstract: Provided in the present application are a signal transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: determining a first frequency-domain resource in a sidelink resource pool, and sending a first signal by means of the first frequency-domain resource, wherein the bandwidth of the first frequency-domain resource is equal to the maximum available bandwidth of the sidelink resource pool, the first signal is located in a first symbol of a first time unit in the time domain, a signal in the first symbol is used for automatic gain control, and the first signal is used for sensing measurement of a sidelink. By means of the method provided in the present application, a first terminal device sends, in a first symbol of a first time unit, a first signal for sensing measurement, and the first signal may also remain the original function thereof unchanged, that is, the first signal is used for automatic gain control, thereby implementing sensing measurement by means of the first signal without causing losses to communication performance, and thus enabling integrated communication and sensing of a sidelink.
