Abstract: Abstract Signal Confidence-Based Asset Localization and Tracking System The present invention relates to a signal confidence-based asset localization and tracking system for providing continuous indoor and outdoor asset monitoring. The system comprises an embedded controller, a Global Positioning System (GPS) module, Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) interface, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface, communication module, rechargeable power management unit, and a Dynamic Localization Source Selection Engine. The Dynamic Localization Source Selection Engine computes Localization Confidence Scores for multiple localization sources based on signal quality, communication reliability, environmental conditions, and localization consistency parameters. The system automatically compares the confidence scores and selects the localization source exhibiting the highest confidence value. Dynamic switching between GPS, Wi-Fi, and BLE localization modes enables uninterrupted tracking across changing environments without user intervention. The invention improves localization continuity, positioning reliability, energy efficiency, and asset visibility for industrial, logistics, transportation, healthcare, warehouse, and security applications.
