Abstract: This invention presents a novel Sign Language-To-Speech Translating system over online meetings that works over Zoom, Skype, Discord, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet applications. It aims at helping hearing-impaired people better participation in virtual meetings without requiring any human translator. Here is how it works: it uses advanced algorithms to analyse video input from sign language users; since hand movements, facial expression, and body gesture in making signs will be interpreted as words in spoken language The system has four main parts: first, a computer vision part that spots and recognizes hand gestures; second, a language part that changes those gestures into words; third, a voice part that turns those words into spoken language; and fourth, a connecting part that links the system to video meeting tools. It works like speaking, but video looks and sentences of sign language are transformed into complete sentences and pronounced to all the people at the meeting. It also contains a screen with which the signers can view the understanding of their sign, and adjust what needs change. The system supports a variety of sign languages and spoken dialects, and that is why the user can select the one that he or she likes. It continues to improve with time in regard to recognizing signs. The voice settings can also be modified to make the sounds more familiar to the normal way people speak.
