Abstract: A shirt buttoning up assistive device, comprising an elongated body 101 having proximal and distal end ( 102, 103), a handle 104 is attached with proximal end 102 that is gripped by a user to position distal end 103 in proximity to a front placket of a shirt worn by user for buttoning up shirt, an imaging unit 105 installed over body 101 to determine presence of button holes and buttons over shirt along with type of buttons, two robotic grippers 106 installed over body 101 to grip front placket of shirt in order to straighten front placket, a robotic arm 107 installed over distal end 103 to grip button in accordance with dimensions of button as monitored via a laser sensor integrated with body 101.
