Abstract: Provided are a shift register unit and a driving method therefor, and a display drive circuit and a display apparatus, which belong to the technical field of display. In the shift register unit, an input circuit can control, in response to a clock signal, an input terminal to transmit a signal to a first node, and can control, in response to the potential of the first node, a first power supply terminal and a second power supply terminal to respectively transmit a power supply signal to a second node within different time periods; and an output circuit can control, in response to the potential of the second node or the potentials of the first node and the second node, the first power supply terminal and a third power supply terminal to respectively transmit a power supply signal to a first output terminal within different time periods. Therefore, it can be determined that the shift register unit comprises both a P-type transistor and an N-type transistor. Accordingly, it can be known that on the basis of a design featuring a simple structure and a simple driving principle, the shift register unit can output a required driving signal to pixels. Moreover, due to the simple structure, a narrow-bezel design of a display apparatus can also be facilitated.
