The sheet member 25 is characterized in that: skin-side fibers 25as, which are base fibers of the skin-side layer 25a, have a higher hydrophilicity than non-skin-side fibers 25bs, which are base fibers of the non-skin-side layer 25b; the skin-side layer 25a has specific-basis-weight portions 25aP including the skin-side fibers 25as with a specific basis weight and low-basis-weight portions 25aL including the skin-side fibers 25as with a lower basis weight than the specific-basis-weight portions 25aP; and the sheet member 25 has areas where the specific-basis-weight portions 25aP and the non-skin-side layer 25b overlap each other, and areas where the low-basis-weight portions 25aL and the non-skin-side layer 25b overlap each other when viewed in the thickness direction.
