Abstract: A sheet-like material transportation device, comprises of a rectangular base 101 having four wheels 102 attached underneath the base 101 by means of spring suspensions 103 for a smooth locomotion of the base 101, a display unit 111 provided on the base 101 to enable the user to provide touch input regarding direction of locomotion of the base 101, a microphone provided on base 101 for receiving an audio command regarding holding a sheet-like material, an imaging unit 108 synced with a laser sensor embedded on the base 101 to determine position and dimensions of the material placed on the base 101, multiple inverted U-shaped telescopic members 104 to create multiple slots for vertical positioning of sheet-like material, and a sliding unit 106 for moving a pair of telescopic grippers mounted on each of sliding unit 106 by means of ball and socket joints to grip the sheet-like material.
