Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a sharpening device (100) configured for controlled refinement of cutting edges through synchronized bilateral abrasive engagement, integrated regulation of sharpening angle and contact pressure, and guided sharpening motion, thereby enabling consistent edge geometry, symmetrical material removal, controlled sharpening conditions, and repeatable sharpening performance. The sharpening device (100) comprises a frame (102), a pair of abrasive plates (104), a rack-and-pinion assembly (106), plurality of angle fasteners (112), a limiter (114), a pair of resilient members (116), a pair of jaws (118), a screw shaft (120), a guide member (122), a lever (124), an elastic member (130), a knob (140), and a fastening member (144). The sharpening device (100) enables synchronized bilateral abrasive engagement and automatic blade centering, thereby facilitating symmetrical material removal and uniform bevel formation during sharpening.
