Abstract: ABSTRACT SHARED PREAMBLE SET FOR COHERENT JOINT TRANSMISSION RANDOM ACCESS CHANNEL Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for a shared preamble set for a coherent joint transmission (CJT) random access channel (RACH). A method may include receiving, from a network element and at least one other network element, at least one preamble index for a coherent joint transmission associated with the network element and the at least one other network element. The method may also include determining, based on the at least one preamble index, a coherent joint transmission set of indices for the network element and the at least one other network element. The method may further include determining, based on metric information associated with the coherent joint transmission set of indices, a coherent joint transmission serving set. The method may also include synchronizing with the network element and the one or more other network element of the at least one other network element.
