Abstract: A sewing machine control assistive device comprises of a platform 101 having a pair of horizontal rods 102 developed to be positioned underneath a sewing machine, an electromagnet 103 mounted to securely attach the platform 101 to the sewing machine, a push button installed on the platform 101 for activating the device, plurality of touch sensors are embedded in the plates to detect the user's foot size and accommodation, a microphone 104 integrated in the platform 101 for user input regarding a user-desired operation, a motorized ball and socket joint integrated in between the rod and platform 101 to provide reciprocating movement to tilt the platform 101, and plurality of pressure sensors embedded in the plates for detecting pressure applied by the user.
