Abstract: A sewing assistive device for personalized designs, comprises of a cuboidal housing 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, a touch interactive display panel 103 is installed on the housing 101 to provide input specifications regarding desired hem on placed fabric, an imaging unit 104 installed on housing 101 to detect factors such as the fabric’s texture, color and thickness, a speaker 105 for guiding the user to insert ends of the fabric underneath a roller 111 attached with the plate 102, multiple telescopically operated link arranged in the plate 102 for extending to fold the evaluated points, a motorized ball and socket joint 110 provided between the link and plate 102 for providing required movement to the link for folding points to ensure effective folds, and a sewing arrangement 107 for providing stitching movements to detachable needles 108 associated with the device for stitching and hemming process.
