Abstract: Abstract Sequential Package Weight Drift Detection and Corrective Filling Control System A sequential package weight drift detection and corrective filling control system is disclosed. The system acquires weight measurements of successive packages, validates measurement stability, and determines deviations from a predetermined target weight. A rolling observation window of package-weight deviations is analysed to distinguish isolated variations from persistent directional filling drift and to identify a drift-precursor condition before individual packages exceed acceptance limits. Upon confirmation of drift, a bounded corrective command modifies an operating parameter of an associated filling or dispensing mechanism. Weights of subsequently filled packages are evaluated within a post-correction verification window to determine whether the correction is to be maintained, modified, reversed, or escalated. The system thereby integrates measurement validation, sequential drift discrimination, early drift detection, corrective filling adjustment, and post-correction verification to reduce repeated underfilling or overfilling, material wastage, false corrective actions, and oscillatory filling behaviour.
