Abstract: The present invention discloses a sensor-integrated coolant-assisted fixture system for Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) comprising a lower plate (1), an upper plate (3), an embedded serpentine copper tube network (2), coolant inlet (10), coolant outlet (11), thermal hoses (8), K-type thermocouple probes (9), clamps (5), side holder bars (4), washers (6), fastening bolts (7), and an ESP32-based control unit. The embedded coolant circulation network actively extracts heat beneath the deposition region to maintain a controlled thermal gradient during robotic WAAM deposition. Real-time thermal monitoring through the thermocouple probes (9) enables adaptive cooling and process optimization for reducing substrate distortion, residual stress, porosity, and inter-pass cooling time. The invention improves dimensional accuracy, metallurgical uniformity, productivity, and thermal stability of deposited metallic structures and is adaptable for industrial, research, and automated additive manufacturing applications.
