Abstract: Sensor-Integrated Automated Patient Positioning and Healthcare Support System ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a sensor-integrated automated patient positioning and healthcare support system (100) for automatically adjusting a patient's posture while providing health monitoring, fall detection, emergency alerting and remote supervision. The system comprises a sensing arrangement (102), a user input interface (114), a power supply unit (122), a microcontroller-based processing and control unit (124), a motor driver module (126), a motorized bed positioning mechanism (128), a relay module (130), an actuator/bed adjustment system (132), a display unit (134), an alarm unit (138), and an IoT/communication module (142). The sensing arrangement (102) acquires patient position and physiological parameters through sensors (104, 106, 108, 110, 112), while manual, voice and emergency inputs are received through the interface (114). The controller (124) determines a positioning requirement and controls the motorized mechanism (128). The system further provides a multi-condition safety-based positioning decision layer that permits, modifies, interrupts or terminates movement according to combined patient-position, timing, physiological, fall and user-command conditions, thereby improving patient safety and reducing caregiver effort.
