MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641092806 A) filed by Aditya University on July 30, 2026, for Sensor-Coordinated Vehicle Seat Assist System With Adaptive Lift, Tilt And Pivot Assistance And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Dr. N Rajeswara Rao; and Jannela Yernaidu.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a sensor-coordinated vehicle seat assist system (100) configured to provide coordinated lift, tilt, and pivot assistance during vehicle seat entry and exit. The system (100) comprises a supporting assembly (102), an adaptive tilt assembly (112), and a lifting assembly (128). The adaptive tilt assembly (112) comprises a digital angle finder (114), a controller (116), a first driving unit (118), a gear (120), and a C-carrier (122). The lifting assembly (128) comprises a second driving unit (130), a screw shaft (132), a follower (134), a scissor mechanism (136), a carrier (148), and a force sensing resistor sensor (150). The controller (116) angularly positions the C-carrier (122) according to vehicle inclination, actuates the lifting assembly (128) in response to user-applied force, regulates lifting speed or torque, and permits pivoting after attainment of a lifting-stability condition.
