Abstract: Abstract Sensor Confidence-Based LPG Leakage Detection and Adaptive Valve Control System The present invention relates to a sensor confidence-based LPG leakage detection and adaptive valve control system for improving gas safety in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The system comprises a gas sensing unit, a processing unit, a sensor confidence evaluation engine, an adaptive valve control unit, an alert generation unit, and an IoT communication unit. The processing unit generates a Sensor Confidence Score by evaluating gas concentration measurements and leakage characteristics to distinguish genuine leakage events from transient disturbances and sensor fluctuations. A Leakage Severity Index is subsequently determined and used to classify leakage conditions into different risk levels. The system further provides visual and audible alerts and transmits operational information to a remote monitoring dashboard for real-time monitoring and control. The invention improves leakage detection reliability, reduces false alarms, and enables intelligent adaptive gas safety management.
