Abstract: A computer-implemented mental-health screening and counseling system provides periodic psychological examination for higher-education students during different semesters. A mobile application or web interface provides access to a psychological assessment module evaluating mental-health domains including stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional regulation, academic burnout, social adjustment, resilience, coping, sleep disturbances, attention problems, interpersonal relationships, and suicidal-ideation risk indicators. Assessment results are processed to determine severity scores and risk classification. A counseling recommendation module automatically selects intervention strategies according to the severity scores and risk classification. Psychoeducational feedback, a psychotherapeutic module, and a referral mechanism are integrated with the screening process. The system provides a unified technology-enabled arrangement for use by higher-education students, counsellors, psychologists, educational institutions, and academic administrators.
