MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621101728 A) filed by Shaikh Mohammed Saad on August 23, 2026, for Self-Resisting Fluid Regulator (srfr).

Inventor includes Shaikh Mohammed Saad.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT SELF-RESISTING FLUID REGULATOR (SRFR) A self-resisting fluid regulator comprises of an outer pipe 1 developed to form a fluid carrier line, a unitary, elastically deformable SRFR body (2) developed to be received within the outer pipe (1), the SRFR body (2) defining a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a flow path including at least one constriction zone, wherein fluid pressure at the fluid inlet elastically deforms the SRFR body (2) to reduce the effective flow cross-sectional area at the constriction zone and reduce downstream pressure, and a reduction in downstream pressure elastically relaxes the SRFR body (2) to increase the effective flow cross-sectional area and increase flow, the SRFR body (2) being devoid of mechanical moving parts, and further comprising interlocking notches (3, 5, 6) formed on the SRFR body (2) for push-fit interlocking engagement with an adjacent SRFR body (7), so as to permit a plurality of SRFR bodies of individually predetermined power ratio to be installed in series within the outer pipe (1) and individually added, removed, re-ordered, or replaced in the field.
