Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is an unmanned aerial aquaculture feed-dispensing assembly comprising a mounting frame, a feed hopper supported through transverse pivot axes, and a measuring chamber fixed below an outlet of the feed hopper. A centre of gravity of the feed hopper is positioned below the pivot axes. A flexible closed-path connection joins the hopper outlet to an inlet of the measuring chamber while permitting relative movement. An upper gate closes the chamber inlet and transfers feed load to the measuring chamber, and a lower gate controls a chamber outlet. A rotary cam is mechanically coupled to the gates through respective followers. Successive track portions of the rotary cam open the upper gate while retaining the lower gate closed, close both gates to isolate feed received in the measuring chamber from feed load within the hopper, and thereafter open the lower gate while retaining the upper gate closed.
