The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a self-healing laser-based security and communication system employing multiple free-space optical paths for reliable perimeter protection. The system utilizes a plurality of laser transmitters arranged to form a triple-path laser fence, wherein each laser establishes an independent optical communication link with a corresponding photodiodebased receiver. A microcontroller-based control unit continuously monitors the intensity and continuity of the received optical signals to evaluate path integrity in real time. When a laser path is affected by misalignment, environmental disturbance, or partial obstruction, the control unit automatically initiates corrective actions through a dynamic optical realignment mechanism or searnlessly switches operation to an alternate laser path, thereby maintaining uninterrupted system functionality. In the event that all optical paths are simultaneously interrupted beyond a predefmed threshold, the system conclusively identifies the condition as an intrusion attempt Upon such detection, alert signals are generated through audio and visual indicators, and intrusion status information is optionally transmitted to a remote monitoring station via wireless communication modules. Servo-controlled alignment assemblies compensate for vibration, wind, thermal expansion, or structural displacement, ensuring sustained accuracy of beam positioning. The system operates through a regulated power supply and is designed to be modular, scalable, and energy-efficient The invention provides a robust, wire-free, and faulttolerant solution suitable for securing critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, restricted zones, and sensitive perimeters requiring high reliability and minimal human intervention.
