Abstract: The present invention relates to a decentralised collision prediction and avoidance system for aerial vehicles. Each aerial vehicle is equipped with a hardware-based Collision Avoidance Unit (101) that forms a transient peer-to-peer spatial mesh using a multi- protocol transceiver module (102) with nearby vehicles. Real-time kinematic data is acquired through a sensor interface module (103) and authenticated using a cryptographic hardware element (104). A collision prediction processor (105) generates a probabilistic flight vector (106) representing future airspace occupancy with uncertainty and restricts communication using a dynamic spatial hashing algorithm (107). Collision risk is identified through volumetric intersection analysis, and an evasive manoeuvre is computed using deterministic priority-based resolution logic (108). An actuator control interface (109) autonomously manoeuvres without pilot intervention. The system operates in a GNSS-denied fail-safe mode (110) and supports heterogeneous aerial platforms, enabling secure, scalable, and low-latency autonomous airspace deconfliction.
